Prior to joining Longview in 2002, Mark obtained his MA in Mathematics from Queens’ College, Cambridge University.
Mark has spent his Longview career in the Business Optimisation and Portfolio Risk Analysis Team, focused on collaborating across the firm to achieve business solutions as well as portfolio risk oversight.
In 2021, Mark was appointed Chair of the LLP Risk Committee, overseeing all risk matters within Longview Partners LLP.

Pragnesh Patel

Prior to joining Longview in 2021, Prags spent seven years working at BlueCrest Capital Management, where he was initially Head of Equities Technology for four years before joining the Equity Trading desk.
Previously, Prags was Head of Market Risk Technology for Standard Bank. Prags holds a BSc in Computer Science from King's College London.

Greg Wiles, CFA

Having joined Longview in 2006, Greg has spent his entire Longview career in the Operations Team before becoming Head of Operations in 2020.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Cape Town.

Martin Pein
Head of Technology
Prior to joining Longview in 2021, Martin worked for 11 years at the private equity firm, Pantheon Ventures, as Principal Architect and Head of the Application Support team. In that capacity, he designed an ever-growing operating platform with applications ranging from CRM to portfolio construction, transaction processing, valuations and prototypes of programmes using artificial intelligence. He was previously at UBS Wealth Management, where he managed offshore IT projects for locations like Madrid, Monaco, Frankfurt and Paris with developers in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, after having spent some time at a Swiss consultancy firm in Zurich as a developer. Martin holds a PhD in computer science/data modelling from Germany.
